NOTEBOOK | JOURNAL - BY ALI, UDAIPUR INDIA
Your notebook, sketchbook or journal has already had quite the journey; a story beginning in Udaipur, Rajasthan, India.
In 2015 I met ALI and made his portrait, in 2023 I returned to look for him and the shop, he had passed but I found the shop and met his son Firoz and grandson Aziz. In 2024 I returned and we now continue this new adventure together.
Ali, and his Father before him introduced handmade paper into the city and nestled between the goat leather covers you will find a portfolio of original papers compiled by hand into beautiful notebooks, journals and sketchbooks.

Many books are original 1 of a kind, each full of character and life, you will find the papers are no younger than 20 years old.

The covers are Goat Leather, they all come as they were found in the workshop in Udaipur (See the choose your notebook page).
Each Notebook is very easily nourished and buffed with some leather balm.
