The school was keen to invite a wider scope of career options into the classroom, so travel and photography seemed to fit the bill. I wanted to go one better than that and began to share a project I’d previously completed in Uganda, with youngsters in the UK writing to the youngsters in one of my pictures; The Borehole.

SLEEPWELL PORTRAITS
The Sleepwell Project 2022 supported 123 families across 2 communities in Uganda. Each family was supported by an individual, family, or group from around the world and received a mattress and mosquito net at level 1, an extra bed sheet for level 2, and adding a blanket at level 3.

EXETER CITY FC | UGANDA
A global language, football has a way of naturally connecting people, through a club, a country, or even mutual respect for a single player. Team, Think People Think Story is in Uganda once again to deliver Their Sleepwell Project, explore some adventure, and use photography to create projects that give back to the communities where our teams live and work.
This collaboration between Exeter City FC, Think People Think Story, and Kyabirwa FC was a small idea, 100% self-funded, and enjoyed massively. See the photos and read more at the link below…
